This program provides training and services for individuals living independently. The goal of the program is to ensure that persons with developmental disabilities can successfully determine their own life’s path. Services associated with supported living issues are :
- Assistance with locating housing
- Home environment set-up and maintenance including meal preparation
- Establishing friendships near the home (Circle of Support)
- Money management
- Assistance with hygiene, shopping and appointments
- Self Advocacy
- Medical and dental appointments
- Wheelchair repair appointments
- Section 8 and I.H.S.S. referrals
- Taking pets to the vet
